Prepare yourself for damp
This week’s hero product is the Devola DVH12L dehumidifier. I’m going to do Devola a disservice here and state the obvious: dehumidifiers are not particularly sexy products, and it’s not easy to glam them up.
Nonetheless, they have fast become an absolute essential for the estimated six million of us in the UK with damp problems, or the 5.2 million of us in flats or apartments with nowhere to air our laundry.
If you’re one of those people, and you need a compact, discreet dehumidifier, the DVH12L nailed our small room tests – if that’s not sexy, I don’t know what is.
Elsewhere, we finish the week with a question: how much pressure washer can you expect for £60? The answer is the Hawksmoor 180 Bar, a barebones machine with the price tag to match.
I can also squeeze two more top-flight tech reviews out of this week’s activities: the Google Pixel Watch 5 (which missed out on a recommendation) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra (which didn’t).
Have a lovely weekend!

Devola DVH12L: Classy, compact and surprisingly effective
The DVH12L isn’t the best option for large spaces. Yet by packing more drying power into a compact unit, along with a strong set of features, Devola has created one of the best dehumidifiers for smaller rooms, says our expert Stuart Andrews
Let's talk about damp (sorry)

How much pressure washer can you get for £60?
The Hawksmoor 180 Bar isn’t the best designed or solidly-constructed compact pressure washer, but it’s surprisingly good at cleaning considering the spec and price. It’s a decent option for occasional car and outdoor surface cleaning, says Stuart Andrews

Google Pixel Watch 5: New tricks, old problems
If you want the latest and most intelligent health tracking features, as well as genuinely useful one-handed control and on-wrist AI, the Pixel Watch 5 certainly fits the bill. But there’s not enough here to earn the price tag, says Phones Editor Ben Johnston
The biggest, baddest tablet in town
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra delivers great performance, battery life and superb design undermined by an Android ecosystem that still isn’t quite up to scratch, says Head of Reviews Jonathan Bray
