Revealed: The best laundry brands in the UK
Is your washing machine starting to smell? Does your tumble dryer leave clothes warm and damp? Wait – are you… drying clothes indoors without a dehumidifier?
If you answered yes to any of the above, you need a stern word from the professionals here at Expert Reviews. Fortunately, we devised the new Laundry Brand Awards for precisely this scenario.
We asked homeowners to give us their honest opinion of their washing machines, tumble dryers and dehumidifiers – their feedback helped us name the best laundry appliance brands in the UK (and the worst). If you can’t recall the last time your laundry smelled and looked good, give our article a read. Now.
In other news, we visited King’s Cross this week to witness the launch of Samsung’s new mid-range Galaxy S26 FE – “mid-range” here meaning “almost as expensive as the flagships”.
I’ve also got a quartet of reviews to finish off the week, including two “distraction-free” devices: the Balance Phone, which won’t let you access the internet or social media; and the Garmin Cirqa fitness tracker, which simply ditches the screen altogether. Time for that digital detox you keep talking about.

Samsung unveils the Galaxy S26 FE

We got a sneak peek at the new mid-range Galaxy handset at Samsung's London office yesterday. It should come as no surprise to anyone that AI is front and centre here – but don’t let that deter you. There’s a lot here to like, if you want flagship features for (a bit) less.
